There is a requirement for every site producing Hazardous Waste (>200kg per annum) to register with the Environment Agency as a site of production and to pay an annual registration charge.

It is important that any site that registers annually with the introduction of these regulations.

We are able to offer a service to you providing an annual registration for Hazardous Waste disposal on your behalf at a cost of £18.00. You are of course able to apply for this directly with the Environment Agency but by doing this with ourselves we will send you a reminder to re-register every year at no extra cost to ourselves.

It is extremely important because if a site is not registered, collections of hazardous waste will not be possible, as they would be in breach of the new legislation.

We can also arrange for the collection of any WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) materials that you may have. 

The WEEE regulations require that all equipment with a battery or a plug to be disposed of separately from your general waste. This is to maximize the recycling of potentially harmful items which have previously been disposed of by landfill.
